Truthfully, I'm not a waiting around type of person. I can't remember ever putting everything on hold whilst awaiting someone to get in touch. If I really wanted to keep in touch with someone I would make sure i had some way of contacting them be that phone number, email addy etc and then I'd probably contact them.

If (as i'm forcing myself)I had to pick one it would more than likely to be the first option. Give them that one chance they might call. when they don't move on and don't waste any more time waiting on them.
